I work with the Creative Director to ensure we deliver the best in class branding and user experiences across all our products. I work closely with UX designers and developers to find effective solutions that balance user needs with business goals and technical capabilities. I can translate business requirements into beautiful, practical design solutions that are constantly evolving in a data driven, iterative design process. I work closely with agencies and digital partners to formulate awesome campaigns for both online and offline as well as TV.
Head of Design – My Destination

I was in charge of the creative direction and the overall branding strategy for My Destination. I was responsible for the website's entire design life cycle from producing concepts through to front end design. I was instrumental in designing the user interface collaborating with UX designers and developers to determine the ultimate user experience across multiple platforms and devices. I managed a team of two designers as well as the overall workload ensuring a high level of quality was maintained and making sure all design deadlines were met. Other daily duties included front-end development, email marketing and creating a range of successful social media campaigns.

As senior designer I was responsible for all online creative execution and successfully managed a team of three designers. It was also my responsibility to organise the workload and ensure that all jobs were produced on time and to the highest quality demanded. I always achieved 100% target in meeting deadlines and consistently produced extremely effective work in a very high paced environment. I was the lead designer in charge of the complete re-design of the website as well as developing the new brand and identity. I was also responsible for design and implementation of campaigns for all the products and affiliate teams; this covered the full design life cycle from brief right through to launch. My daily tasks included designing and building of sub sites, microsites, landing pages, banners, print marketing as well as designing effective HTML emails that ensured maximum inbox penetration.
Design Manager – AOL Advertising UK
July 2004 – June 2009
I was lead designer at AOL Advertising working directly under the European creative director where I was responsible for a team of three designers. The role included conceptual design and build for all portal websites and European network sites. I was also lead designer on a wide variety of successful campaigns for clients including Lloyds TSB, Sony Ericsson, Time Warner, Lufthansa and Volkswagen. As well as creating highly effective advertising campaigns daily tasks also included concept visualisation and execution of rich media banners, landing pages, HTML emails and microsites. I was also responsible for the clients’ promotional and marketing print designs.
Web and Graphic Designer – Gocom Media Agency
June 2003 – July 2004
This was a client facing design role that involved liaising with them to find out design briefs and company requirements and putting their identities onto the web. I was responsible for the entire web design process when creating web sites and HTML email marketing. I was also in charge of designing all print materials for clients as well as the company's internal marketing.
